Custom parts
Spare parts that are no longer made, brackets, adapters and prototypes. They are measured, modelled in CAD and printed.
How I work
You send photos and measurements
Front and side photos with a ruler next to the part, and whatever measurements you can take with a caliper.
I model the part in CAD
The caliper measurements outrank the photos. The model is parametric: changing one dimension does not mean starting over.
I test it with a print
I print a prototype and check that it fits. If needed, I adjust the clearances.
You receive the part or the files
The printed part, or the STL and STEP files so you can print it yourself.
What I need to know
- What the part is for and where it is mounted.
- How many units you need.
- Whether it has to withstand heat, damp, sun or load.
Materials
I print in PLA, PETG, ASA, depending on the use. If you are unsure which one suits you, I will explain it in the quote.
One limit
FDM-printed parts are not suitable where a failure could cause harm, such as brakes, structures or medical use. If that is your case, I will say so and not make it.
