The addition house

A house-shaped board for column addition: ones, tens and hundreds, with slots for the carried digits.

The thousands cell appears only in the result row, so children see the carry from the hundreds becoming a new digit (586 + 738 = 1324).

Storage box: 40 tiles standing in their own slots, sorted 0–9; the board rests on top and a sliding lid closes it all.
